The staff was very patient with me as I perused the menu and asked questions. Went with the special, The Eppy. Great decision… cannot begin to describe how amazing this sandwich was… the flavors were heavenly and the meat was so tender. The homemade pickles were so unique. Thank you for making my visit to NJ complete!!!

If you’re looking for old fashioned Jewish deli style food this is one of the best options around. Glad they’re back to giving out the coleslaw and pickles. Dining area has recently been redecorated. Looks much better. The food is pricey but if you like corned beef, pastrami and chopped liver it’s great. We usually order the steak fries too. I give it 5 stars cause there are so few places like this around anymore and we always make a special trip to eat here. They have many classic options like matzo ball soup. You will love it.

First time carrying out and trying it here and loved the food. Seriously, it’s fresh, authentic and brought back childhood memories. But, yes, it’s expensive. I wouldn’t have had an issue with price except I was a little bummed that my order included $22 of Matzo Ball soup and it only came with two balls. Womp womp… I’ll chalk it up to them being slammed for the holiday and give them another try soon!

Very tasty food, good selection of food. The robot delivering the food is also quite funny. Will be coming back for sure!

In my opinion, the absolute best, freshest and most delicious Jewish-style delicatessen/restaurant around. Their soups, sandwiches, potato pancakes, and even their pickles, coleslaw and rye bread, are the very best around. Clearly, with regards to their hot corned beef and pastrami, they melt in your mouth like butter, and they are not fatty. The staff are always highly attentive and respectful, all of the food (across the board) is worth driving almost 40 minutes for. Only one slight negative (which isn't really valid or applicable in this day & age) is that the prices are a bit high. But not higher than Katz deli in New York City... You get what you pay for, and if you're ok spending $90+ for two adults, all-in (with tip included), then you could eat very well here. In other words, if someone could tell me a better Jewish-style deli/restaurant in New Jersey, I wish they would, because it doesn't exist. The owner, Josh, is a super-nice guy who seems to take a great deal of pride into making sure his customers are 100% happy & satisfied. Enthusiastically recommended, 5-stars, and A+++++

Went for a meal after a dedication service. From what I was told this place is an institution. The portions are huge! If you go share! Service is slow. Waitress did not tell her patrons they were out of several items. Could just be the kitchen does not tell the wait staff what has not been delivered. There is a robot! Delivery. Possibly to cut down on wait and bus staffing. Would like to go to soothing catered by them. Could be good.
